SERVICES

The placement process begins with a telephone consultation with a member of our staff. After the client’s expectations have been discussed and reviewed, a number of suitable candidates for the position are identified, references are checked, and interviews are arranged.

After a candidate is selected, the terms of employment have been agreed to, and a job offer is accepted, our agency will ensure that the employment agreement is in compliance with labour laws governing domestic workers. We will also help with pre-calculated payroll deductions and the completion of forms required by Human resources Canada.

Throughout the selection and hiring process, our staff members are available to answer questions, negotiate job offers, and provide other assistance.

FEES

DOMESTIC NANNIES

Agency fees for a permanent placement are based on the nanny’s salary. Our fee for a live-in caregiver or nanny is $650.00, and two and a half times the weekly net salary for a full time or a part-time live-out position. Agency fees are payable at the end of a seven day trial period from the start of employment.

Although ultimate agreement regarding salaries must be reached between the employer and the candidate, we will assist in negotiating a fair wage on your behalf. It is the responsibility of the employer to keep payroll records, remit all taxes, and make appropriate deductions.

OVERSEAS NANNIES

Our fee for an overseas nanny is $750.00 plus GST. Once a candidate is selected, we require a deposit of 40% of the total fee. The balance of the placement fee is due the day your nanny arrives in Canada.
